Scientific Achievements of Prof. Wojciech Marusza

Education and Professional Experience

Graduate of Warsaw Medical University.

1990-2004: Senior Assistant and Lecturer in the Department of Internal Diseases and Nephrology at Warsaw Medical University.

1993: Specialization in Internal Medicine (1st degree).

1994-1995: Member of the Senate Commission for the development and changes at Warsaw Medical University.

1995: Defense of doctoral thesis on the treatment of anemia in chronically dialyzed patients with small doses of erythropoietin.

1996: Training internship at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands in family medicine.

1996-2004: Senior Assistant and Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at Warsaw Medical University.

1996-2010: Senior Assistant and Lecturer at the English Division of Warsaw Medical University.

1997: Specialization in Internal Medicine (2nd degree).

1999: Specialization in Family Medicine.

2001: Commencement of practice in Aesthetic Medicine.

2007: Completion of a training course in Aesthetic Medicine in Uppsala, Sweden, organized by Q-Med.

2007: Current work as a trainer in Aesthetic Medicine for companies such as Q-Med, Teosyal, Allergan, Galderma, Croma, Filorga, and Vivacy.

2008: Completion of an advanced course in the use of lasers and facial rejuvenation techniques in Aesthetic Medicine in Paris.

2009: Ongoing scientific collaboration with the Department of Medical Microbiology at Warsaw Medical University on bacterial complications after hyaluronic acid procedures.

2009-2013: Lecturer at the International Congress of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging PTMEIAA in Warsaw on topics related to bacterial complications after hyaluronic acid.

2011: Creation of a training program for physicians and dentists called „Face Sculpting Academy,” certified by the Regional Medical Chamber in Warsaw.

2012-present: Reviewer for various English-language medical journals.

2013-2015: Member of the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (SIES).

2015: Lectures at conferences on adverse reactions in aesthetic dermatology.

2015-2016: Completion of two specialized courses, „Anatomy Masterclass,” at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

2016: Lecture on complications after hyaluronic acid at the VI Scientific-Training Conference of the Military Dermatologists Association.

2016: Workshops on the use of hyaluronic acid preparations at the XVI International Congress of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging.

2017: Lecture and workshop on facial volumization at the Filorga Master Class in Athens.

2017: Workshops on Regeneris Autologic Thrombine Serum and Cellular Matrix at the XVII International Congress of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging.

2017: Completion of a course in anatomy at the „Fer á Moulin” Surgery School in Paris.

2018: Lecture on platelet-rich plasma at the I. BioBridge Congress of Regenerative Medicine in Warsaw.

2018: Workshops on the use of Filorga ART Filler at the XIX International Congress of Aesthetic Dermatology and Anti-Aging.

2022: Completion of the Vivacy Master Class of Live Anatomy and Injections in Paris.

2022: Lecture on epidemics in 14th-century Europe at the II Scientific Conference on the role of St. Roch in the history and culture of Pomerania.

2022: Completion of the „Visage; University Certificate on Aesthetics of the Face” course in Monte Carlo.
